Project Overview
Aerial View of Lanzhou New Area Big Data Industrial Park
The Lanzhou New Area Big Data Industrial Park project has a total construction area of 137000 square meters, consisting of 7 individual and underground civil air defense projects, including a total aboveground construction area of 109000 square meters and an underground construction area of 28000 square meters.
As a key big data industrial park project in the province, Lanzhou New Area Big Data Industrial Park can provide 4000 cabinets after completion, which will become one of the influential large green data centers in Gansu Province and an important node of the “the Belt and Road” cloud service.
Onton Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has provided a smart energy management system for the Lanzhou New Area Big Data Industrial Park project, comprehensively monitoring the park’s electricity consumption data, and providing support for customers’ electricity data collection and decision-making.

Energy management system with “intelligence”
Data Center
The data center industry is one of the key industries of Onton Technology, with a large number of application cases and industry operation experience accumulated over the years. At the same time, for the data center industry, Onton Technology also provides a wealth of product solutions, from the most basic reactive power compensation and harmonic management to electricity safety and smart energy management systems. Onton Technology provides a full lifecycle smart distribution solution.
The smart energy management system can connect with electrical equipment, instruments, and other underlying sensors, collect various electrical parameters, switch values, temperature, electrical degree, power factor, and other data in real-time, and refresh the display in real-time on the software interface.
This greatly improves the work efficiency of inspection and maintenance personnel, and you only need to sit in the monitoring room to view the electricity consumption situation of the entire park. At the same time, we have also configured a mobile app for the software, which feels like being in the device’s operation site whether on duty or at home, and all data is accurately displayed.
Only with the ability to view, it is far from being considered “smart”. Our system can also remotely control and operate on-site devices, including circuit breakers with electric operating mechanisms for all voltage levels and other intelligent devices that can be remotely controlled.
All of these controls are remotely controlled by the operation and maintenance personnel in the monitoring room. The operation and maintenance personnel can operate the switchgear without having to go to the site, which not only greatly improves the operation and maintenance efficiency, but also avoids operational failures caused by operators’ misoperation on site, ensuring the personal safety of the operation and maintenance personnel.

Project progress
The user uses our iEnergy S2000 intelligent energy management system to achieve centralized monitoring of the electricity consumption status of various factory areas, buildings, distribution rooms, and distribution circuits on site in the central control room. The monitoring of electricity consumption status is carried out, and the database is stored. The system automatically generates daily electricity consumption reports, monthly reports, annual reports, and energy sub item measurement statistical reports, providing reference for management personnel’s analysis and decision-making.
The system has been successfully and stably running for over two years. High reliability, high operability, and strong risk resistance have won unanimous recognition from customers.
